Google Voice Temporarily Removed From App Store Due To Stability Concerns

Google has temporarily pulled their Google Voice app from the iTunes App Store due to a major bug with iOS 5, reports Engadget. Some users have reported a flaw in which the app crashes every time they attempt to sign in, and Google has temporarily pulled down the app in order to fix the problem.

While Google does not have an estimate for when they’ll put the updated app live, they are reportedly working hard on the issue. A current Google search for the app will retrieve information for the old version of the app, and if you try to download the app, you’ll reach an error saying “The item you’ve requested is not currently available in the US store.”
