Apple Returns Homepage To Normal, Buys RememberingSteveJobs.com

Apple’s homepage, which has displayed an image of Steve Jobs since his passing two weeks ago, has now returned to normal, with the iPhone 4S now taking center stage. A “Remembering Steve” link, which leads to a site with tributes from millions of fans & admirers, still remains, appearing at the bottom of the page.

After two weeks, this actually feels appropriate – following Apple’s celebration of Steve Jobs’ life yesterday, the company appears to have reached closure over the passing of their founder, and is proceeding with business as usual.

It’s certainly not that case that Apple is forgetting Steve, or diminishing the importance of his life in any way, in fact 9to5Mac reports that Apple has just purchased RememberingSteveJobs.com, which now directs to Apple’s official Steve Jobs memorial page.
