Alien Dalvik 2.0 Seeks To Run Android Apps On iOS

A project from the Myriad Group called Alien Dalvik 2.0 may soon allow Android apps to run on iOS devices. Myriad hopes that by doing so, the industry will move closer to a single standard for mobile applications.

Alien Dalvik 2.0 will be completely transparent to a user, and can be installed without disrupting the user. Myriad has announced the release of Dalvik 2.0 today, although the technology will not yet be available to users. Myriad will demo the new technology at the CTIA Enterprise & Applications 2011 event.
