Wacom has just unveiled their new Cintiq 24HD graphics tablet display. The 24HD is Wacom’s largest model ever, boasting a 24-inch display. The display features a resolution of 1920 x 1200, features a 16:10 aspect ratio, a 178-degree viewing angle, and can be color calibrated.
The 24HD supports 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity, a 400-degree pen tilt, and can register a single gram of force, making it ideal for pressure-sensitive design applications, especially those where precise detail is required.
Wacom’s 24HD is mounted on an adjustable stand to support use in numerous positions. The tablet can even easily be lowered over the edge of a desk for a more confortable drawing or editing experience, and includes controls for zooming and scrolling, as well as featuring ten programmable function keys.
The new tablet features USB, Dvi-I and DisplayPort connectors. The display supports analog RGB, digital DVI and DisplayPort input, and includes a DVI-to-VGA adapter. The Cintiq 24HD is available immediately, and is priced at US$2,499.
