Minecraft fans, rejoice! Mojang’s popular PC game Minecraft will soon be coming to the App Store, reports Pocket Gamer, due to arrive later this year following a September 29th Android release of the game.
For those of you that haven’t yet become involved in the world of Minecraft, the game is an open roaming game in which players explore the world in search of minerals, which they use to built monuments, buildings, or anything else they can dream up. It’s a seriously addicting game, and has been the cause of swarms of lost hours of productivity.
Because of the game’s immense popularity, it was only a matter of time before it arrived on mobile platforms. For those of you that want an early sneak peak, the below video shows how game play will work on a touch screen.
