Meet The World’s Largest iPhone Dock – 11 Feet Tall, Ladder Included.

Musician and entrepreneur Jean Michel Jarre has just introduced the AeroDream One dock for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. What’s most notable about this dock, however, is its size – it’s 11 feet tall!

This marvel of design and technology combines an iDevice dock with a substantial 10,000W stereo system, all designed in the shape of a stylish modern pillar. The dock stands 11 feet tall, weighs a whopping 871 pounds, and has a diameter of 16.3 inches.

Also important is the fact that the dock includes a built-in ladder so you can easily reach the top of the pillar to plug in your iDevice and crank out your tunes in a truly serious way. You may have difficulty controlling your iDevice from the couch using this dock, however. Just sayin’.

The dock can also accept audio input from other devices using a stero minijack, XLR line level inputs, or a USB port. The dock will sell for more than the cost of most houses at €399,000 (about $565,000 USD).

I can just imagine building an incredible mansion in which this beauty rises from the floor every time I want to play some tunes. Ooooh yeah. For those who dont have a spare half-million dollars or more, Jarre also offers the AeroSystem One, a smaller version of the same design for €799.00 (about $1122 USD).
