Following Monday’s report that Apple is already training their retail employees on iOS 5 and iCloud, a new report from 9to5Mac suggests that Apple’s global carrier partners have begun training their employees as well.
According to participants, the new training is very similar to training that occurred prior to last year’s launch of iOS 4 alongside the iPhone 4. The support divisions of major carriers are also reportedly being trained on Apple’s iCloud service.
This support-level iCloud training really showcases how hard Apple is pushing iCloud and iOS 5 as tightly integrated, as many of iCloud’s features are uniquely based on iOS, and many of iOS 5’s features rely on iCloud. The training materials have been developed with assistance from Apple and include video training as well as PDF instruction guides.
With iOS 5 reportedly reaching final testing with carriers, coupled with the fact that both Apple and wireless carriers are training their employees on iOS 5 and iCloud, it won’t be long before Apple announces their press event to release their latest work.
