Among the most anticipated expected features to be included in iOS 5 on next-gen iPhone models is Apple’s new Assistant feature, which uses voice recognition and artificial intelligence to act as your personal assistant and help you make appointments, control your iPhone, or retrieve information.
MacRumors worked with artist Jan-Michael Cart, who assembled an impressive concept video (as well as picture to the right) to show what Apple’s iOS 5 Assistant feature might look and function like in a real-world setting.
The Assistant feature still isn’t confirmed to be coming to the next-gen iPhone, but a number of credible reports from 9to5Mac’s Mark Gurman have discussed the feature at length, including a recent report in which he provided a detailed overview of how the service will work.
