Sprint has just sent out an email inviting certain members of the press to a “Strategy Update” presentation on Friday, October 7 – around the same time Sprint is rumored to begin offering the upcoming next-gen iPhone!
Earlier rumors have claimed that Sprint will be introducing the iPhone 5 to their customers in mid-October alongside AT&T and Verizon. The iPhone is currently only available to AT&T and Verizon customers in the US.
The presentation will be led by senior management at Spring, and will feature a Q&A session. It is suspected that Sprint may discuss their plans for the iPhone at this meeting, and discuss how it might affect their sales and strategy.
Sprint employees have recently been asked not to comment on the iPhone in any way.
