id Software, developers of the popular Rage shooter for iOS, have decided to give away their popular app for free for the next week or so. Rage is an arcade-style shooter adapted from the PC and console game due out later this year.
Rage begins by allowing you to select one of three levels, along with a difficulty game, and your goal is to survive each level while earning as much cash as possible.
Rage is a rail-based shooter, meaning you don’t actually control where your character goes on screen, you merely control which direction your weapon is pointed and fire away. It’s a fun game, and for the delightful price of free, it’d be a shame not to give it a try. You can grab it now in both standard resolution (Free, App Store Link) and HD resolution (Free, App Store Link).
