There’s a fairly brilliant new iPad 2 battery concept afloat being produced by Brando The new 3000mAh battery attaches directly to your iPad 2’s Smart Cover and stands by to provide extra power when you need it.
Unfortunately, you’ll still need to connect to the battery using a cable, as Apple has yet to implement a way to allow the Smart Cover to charge your iPad – but why? Perhaps this is something that Apple overlooked – why not add a small, thin battery to each fold of the smart cover? It could certainly significantly prolong the active life of your iPad.
