iPad 2 Shipments Finally Catch Up With Demand, Ship Within 1-3 Business Days

Apple’s iPad 2 release this year has been characterized by a lack of available supply, resulting in many customers having to wait for considerable amounts of time to get their hands on one. Now, however, it appears that supply has finally caught up to demand, as the Apple Online Store now reports shipping times of just 1-3 days (at least in the US).

It’s only taken 4 months, but customers looking to buy an iPad 2 can finally rest easy, as the iPad 2 now ships out from Apple in just 1-3 days. Furthermore, in inquiring with several retailers this morning, including Best Buy, retail stock of the new units is also significantly improved, with locations I called reporting in-stock availability of the iPad 2.
