Hipstamatic , probably the coolest retro / vintage iPhoneography app around from time to time has offered limited edition lenses, films and camera ‘cases’, but until they recently introduced push notifications you had to be keeping an eye on their FaceBook or Twitter, or kept checking the HipstaMart for new paks, so it seems they received quite a few complaints from people who had missed out on these limited paks.
Some of the limited edition Paks also suffered from technical difficulties. When the Tejas lens was available for a limited time I tried repeatedly to grab it, but was consistently confounded by errors when I tried to purchase.
In order to make up for all these frustrations, Hipstamatic have announced a Retro Weekend, and as of now, and until Midnight PT on Sunday night, the RetroPak is available for $1.99 (€1.59). The RetroPak One contains the DreamCanvas Film, Melodie Lens, Salvador 84 Lens and the Tejas Lens.
