Fire Up The TIVO, CNBC’s “Titans” Is Airing Bio Profile Of Steve Jobs Tomorrow At 8PM Central

On June 23 (Tomorrow) at 8 PM Central, CNBC’s popular program “Titans” will be airing a biographical profile of Steve Jobs to kick of their new season. The series spotlights leaders of industry who have built empires and achieved success.

CNBC’s website offers a description of tomorrow’s Steve Jobs episode:

Irrepressible, irascible, and iconic, Steve Jobs has reigned as the undisputed king of Silicon Valley for the better part of three decades. From his parents’ California garage he launched the personal computer revolution and built Apple into the most envied, and valuable, technology company in the world. From the Macintosh and the iPod, to iTunes and the iPhone, Jobs has personally presided over the creation of dozens of transformational devices, battling hostile corporate boards, cutthroat competitors, and serious illness while securing his legacy as one of the few who dared to “Think Different.”

While the season will be kicking of with Steve Jobs, it will also take a look at Jack Welch, Proctor & Gamble, Jack Daniels, Milton S. Hershey, and other notable leaders of industry.

Highlights of the show will include a look at Apple’s early days, a look into the way Steve Jobs handles his executive role with the company today, and a closer look at the iPod, and how its success drove Apple out of the dark ages, and helped shape it into what it is today.
