According to Digitimes, Apple has dropped the preverbal hammer and instructed their production partners to crank it up to 11 to provide component parts for the impending refresh of Macbook Airs.
It is expected that Apple require a staggering 8 million Macbook Airs for the third quarter and they’re confident of selling a total of 15 million Macbooks in 2011.
The refreshed Airs are expected to feature Thunderbolt, improved ultra-low voltage processors, and will of course come with OS X Lion pre-installed.
The refresh is expected in July, but not until after Lion’s release.
Excited much?
