When discussing iCloud, Steve Jobs said in his keynote this morning “we’re going to demote the PC and the Mac to just be a device.” John Gruber sums up today’s announcement very succinctly:
Google’s frame is the browser window. Apple’s frame is the screen. That’s what we’ll remember about today’s keynote ten years from now.
Apple is going to sell a boatload of iPads and Macs by giving away iCloud for free.
James first bit into Apple when his mom and dad bought an Apple IIe in 1986. He switched to Wintel in the mid 90s when Apple was in a tailspin and back again to an iBook in 2005 when things were looking brighter. Hopefully there is no turning back to the dark side now.
