OS X Lion To Go Live Soon?

According to a report from TUAW, citing “trusted sources,” Mac OS X 10.7 Lion has gone live for internal Apple testing as recently as last week, which likely means two things: devs will soon get a Golden Master, and a public release is very, very close, possibly scheduled for WWDC.

If Apple is really testing a “finished” version of Lion internally, I have no doubt that WWDC will be its release grounds, although it is a pretty substantial “if”. Lion may get an “available today” mention at the WWDC Keynote, but even if not, Lion certainly looks to be one step closer to being in consumers’ hands.
