Love StarCraft? Have an iPad? Gameloft’s new title, Starfront: Collision HD, may be just the thing for you! Released just today, It’s an RTS featuring beautiful graphics, and the gameplay promises to be good as well – and its multiplayer!
Although it does seem much like a clone of StarCraft, Starfront seems to be especially well-done. The goal is to capture rare Xenodium crystals, and use them as resources to build structures and combat units, since you’re competing with other races and factions for the rare mineral.
Like Starcraft, you can choose your side, and each side has their own unique structures, weapons, and so forth. There are three different factions to choose from. Each faction can construct 8 different buildings and over 10 destructive units to build up their base and mount an unstoppable assault on adversaries. Once you’ve mastered the solo campaign, put your skills to the test in exciting multiplayer battles.
