If you’re a big time fan of World of Goo for the Mac, PC, or iPad, or are just looking for a great new game, you’ll be pleased to know that its developers have now submitted an iPhone.iPod Touch version of the popular game to the App Store for approval.
The game, which is quite unique, and which is immensely popular, well-reviewed, and enjoys a fantastic rating on the App Store, sold a nice 125,000 copies in its first month of release, and has now become one of the most popular games in the App Store.
Once the app is approved and launched 2D Boy (the developer) will be selling the game at an special introductory price of 0.99 cents for the first 24 hours as a way to say thank you to the early adopters, after which it will rise to $2.99.
The further great news is that if you already purchased the iPad HD ($4.99, click here to buy) version, you’ll gain the new iPhone version for free (as it will be universal), and all versions of World of Goo from this point forward will be universal. There’s also a Mac, Linux, and Windows version for sale from the developer for $19.95, available here with a free demo.
