iPhone Now Comprises Half Of Apple’s Business

In less than 4 years, the iconic and amazing Apple iPhone has gone from zero percent of Apple’s income to a staggering 50%. Apple reported $12.3 billion in iPhone sales last quarter (half of its overall revenue). This number is up 126% from last year. Check out the chart of the day below.

For the first time ever, iPhone revenue didn’t shrink in the March quarter after the busy Christmas quarter before it. (Thanks in large part to launching at Verizon Wireless and SK Telecom during the quarter.)

If you figure in iPod Touch and iPad sales into the equation, Apple now gets around two thirds of its revenue from iOS devices.
