After being delayed by the massive earthquake and resulting tsunami, Apple is ready to launch the iPad 2 in Japan, along with 13 other countries Thursday, April 28.
The Nikkei, Japan’s biggest business daily, is reporting that all seven Apple Stores as well as SoftBank will have the iPad 2 in stock. CrunchGear notes that the Sendai store only re-opened last week after after being struck by last month’s disaster.
The Next Web is reporting that Indians will be able to buy an iPad 2 tomorrow as well, which was at hinted by Apple Premium Reseller Vijay Sales.
