BGR is reporting that iPad + 3G users who have been paying $30 per month for unlimited data will indeed be able to continue on their unlimited plans if they upgrade to the iPad 2. AT&T made an unlimited data plan available to early iPad owners last year, but decided to pull the plan in favor of the capped options we have now. Users who are new to the iPad, however, or that signed up for their iPad plan after Jun 7th of 2010 are out of luck, and the unlimited plan will only be offered to those who originally signed up for it.
