Beautiful genius Björk will be joined on stage in her upcoming Manchester shows by her band, and by Apps that will shortly be made available in iTunes.
Everyone’s favorite Icelander (sorry Eidur Gudjohnsen) will be launching a multimedia project called Biophilla in June and July. The show will include a “bespoke gamelan-celste hybrid” & a “30 foot pendulum that harnesses the Earth’s gravitational pull to create musical patterns”, and of course Apps!
The apps, dubbed “companion apps” will be arriving in the app store soon but Björk hasn’t spoken about what the apps will allow you do.
I can only speculate, but an augmented reality App that ties in Björk’s zany stage presence would go down a treat. I wonder what she’ll pull out of the bag.
