iPad 2 To Feature Samsung's Super PLS Display, Keep Same Resolution

Rumors are now circulating that Apple has made a significant purchase of displays from Samsung.  According to the Korea Herald, the new displays are likely to end up in Apple’s forthcoming iPad 2.  The new technology is said to provide further improved viewing angles (interestingly, the display actual shifts the shape of the individual pixels to achieve this) and enhanced brightness.  The report, featured by 9to5Mac, also suggests that the iPad 2 will retain the same resolution as the current generation.
