Apple on Tuesday released an ‘Apple Support’ app for use by customers in the the Netherlands. The app is intended to offer users another way to get support for their Apple devices.
Need help? Apple Support app is your personalized guide to the best options from Apple. Find answers with articles tailored to your products and questions. Call, chat or email with an expert right away, or schedule a callback when it’s convenient. Get a repair at an Apple Store or a nearby Apple Authorized Service Provider. Apple Support is here to help.
The app offers information to users along the lines of Apple’s support site on the web. The app offers signed in users a list of all Apple products owned by the user, as well as support options, including the chance to schedule a Genius Bar appointment at a nearby store, or to chat with Apple’s support staff. The app also offers information about recent repair requests and information related to Apple product maintenance.
Currently the Apple Support app is limited ot the Netherlands, and is not showing up in the U.S. App Store. It is possible Apple is doing a soft release to make sure everything works properly before rolling it out to other locales. We’ll keep you posted when we hear anything about expanded availability of the app.
