World Wrestling Entertainment announced on Monday that its budding WWE Network will launch on Apple TV on February 24. The network will also simultaneously launch native apps for the iPad and iPhone.
Professional wrestling fans will need to have a subscription to access the network’s content on the Apple TV as well as through the iOS apps, a WWE spokesperson said in a post to the company’s Facebook fan page.
The WWE Network will run viewers $9.99 per month, and will require a six-month commitment. Apple TV owners will not be able to use their iTunes accounts to subscribe.
