MacRumors notes that Apple rolled out some interesting changes to the iOS 6 App Store over the weekend, switching to an all-new interface for search results and content pages. Notably, the search results look very similar to Chomp – an app discovery startup that Apple acquired earlier this year.
Aside from the new App Store interface, Apple also enabled the Genius feature in iOS 6, which was previously disabled. It’s interesting that Apple is rolling out these changes so close to next week’s iPhone event, suggesting that they may be preparing to release a Gold Master version of iOS 6 for developers sometime soon.
JealbreakNation has put together a nice video summarizing all of the changes to the iOS 6 app store – check it out below!
