Apple has just released a new update for AirPort Utility on the Mac, as well as new firmware for AirPort Base Stations and Time Capsules. The new AirPort utility is designed to look similar to Apple’s Airport Utility app for iOS (App Store link).
As you can see from the above image, the new AirPort Utility for Mac looks extremely similar to the iOS version Apple released in October. The AirPort and Time Capsule firmware update adds support for remote access to AirPort disks or Time Capsules through iCloud, as well as addressing minor issues with wireless performance.
The updates are available immediately, and can be downloaded through Software Update (the firmware update is downloaded through Airport Utility), or directly from Apple using the following links:
