Google has just released a new version of their official Google Search app for iOS (link), bringing new features and a new interface for the iPad and full-screen search results for the iPhone.
The new iPad interface is mich simpler, and now has just four grey icons – History, Applications, Voice Search and Googles. It also includes a new side-by-side view so that you can look at search results and browse web pages simultaneously.
The iPhone gets some love too, with Google adding support for full-screen pages and search results, as well as some bug fixes.
Google Search for iOS is available now for free from the App Store (free, App Store Link). Check out the below video for a hands-on look at the update.
