It’s a busy day for Apple! Hot on the heels of OS X Lion hitting the Mac App Store, Apple has also updated their Macbook Air range.
The major changes include a bump in processors to Sandy Bridge i5 and i7 processors, Thunderbolt, backlit keyboard, and all-flash storage. The 11.6″ and 13″ Airs range from 1.6GHz i5 to 1.8Ghz i7 (optional update), 2GB to 4GB RAM, 64GB to 265GB flash storage.
The entry level Macbook Air will set you back $999 while 13″ 256GB model will set you back $1,599 with an option to upgrade to an i7 processor for an additional $100.
The new Macbook Airs ship with Lion.
