CNN and CNET is reporting that Twitter has finally sealed the deal and purchased TweetDeck for a sum of $40 million.
Twitter & TweetDeck started negotiations a few months ago after UberMedia made a play to purchase TweetDeck. Twitter soon entered the frame in order to control their handle on the client market and to stifle the growth of UberMedia.
It is expected that Twitter will officially announce the acquisition of TweetDeck in the next couple of days.
